I can't believe 2013 is over already. Where did the year go? There were so many good books that I read in the past year, and apparently a lot of good books that I didn't read! I am listing a few books below that were standouts to me. Some of these are the first book in a series, and I am anxiously anticipating reading the second book this year.
These are listed in no particular order because there is no way I can choose one of these babies over the others. I keep coming back to Made Of Stars as perhaps my favorite because I think about it more than the others. Liking Taken so much really surprised me because Dystopians are not my favorite genre. But I am so glad that I picked that one up! Same for All Our Yesterdays. I thought it was awesome as a standalone and I can't believe it's going to be a series. The Distance Between Us was very cute and worth a few squeals. Charm & Strange was just all around awesome.
Taken (Taken #1) by Erin Bowman
All Our Yesterdays (All Our Yesterdays #1) by Cristin Terrill
Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller
Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn
Made of Stars by Kelley York
Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis
The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
The Rules for Disappearing (The Rules for Disappearing #1) by Ashley Elston
Lick (Stage Dive #1) by Kylie Scott
The Program (The Program #1) by Suzanne Young
Golden by Jessi Kirby
The Rules (Project Paper Doll #1) by Stacey Kade
Such great picks! I've actually only read All Our Yesterdays out of all of the books listed. I'm definitely going to have to check out the other books. :)

Everyone has different tastes, and there are SO many books out there to read. No wonder we all have such varied favorites lists!
DeleteI have not read a single book from your list, and I'm pretty embarrassed with myself. The TBR list never ends...

My tbr list is totally out of control!
DeleteLoved All Our Yesterdays, The Distance Between Us, and The Rules for Disappearing. Great list! ~Pam
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read the second books for All Our Yesterdays and The Rules for Disappearing.
DeleteGreat picks, Sandra! I just read Distance Between Us a few days ago, and loved it. Such a cute story. I can't wait to read more Kasie West this year. I'm excited about On the Fence, but her next contemporary after the (Fill In Boyfriend) looks like it might be my favorite. The summary is killer! If it makes you feel better, my TBR is out of control too. ;) You're not alone!
