Waiting On Wednesday (151) Tear You Apart (Beau Rivage) by Sarah Cross

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

Wednesday is my absolute favorite day of the week because I get to share the books that I am super excited about and can't wait to read.

Expected publication: January 27th 2015 by Egmont

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Faced with a possible loophole to her "Snow White" curse, Viv goes underground, literally, to find the prince who's fated to rescue her. But is life safe in the Underworld worth the price of sacrificing the love that might kill her?

CAMEOS FROM FAVORITE CHARACTERS: Viv, who first appeared in Kill Me Softly trailed by her brooding boy-toy Henley, takes center stage in this new Beau Rivage tale. Other familiar characters including Blue and Jewel are back to help her defy her destiny.

A FRESH TAKE ON THE FAMILIAR: Drawing on "Snow White," "The Twelve Dancing Princesses," and "Rumpelstiltskin," Tear You Apart is very conscious of the way these stories have pervaded pop culture, twisting known tropes into an exciting new story that can stand on its own.
Synopsis from SarahCross.com:

A modern Snow White reimagining, in which a teen with a murderous stepmother is trapped in a dangerous game of love, jealousy, and hate with her best friend and lover, who is destined to decide if she lives or dies . . . until a mysterious prince from a strange Underworld offers her an escape.

I won't hesitate to admit that I had major problems with the first book in this series, Kill Me Softly, but I'm still willing to give this one a chance.

  1. Been seeing a lot of this around it seems! Didn't really care for the first book she wrote like this one so I may have to pass despite my love of fairy tales retold! Hope you love it!

    1. I like to give authors at least a couple of chances before I give up on reading their books. I have quite a few authors that I read all of their books and some I like, and some I don't. But I keep on reading their new books!
      Thanks for stopping by today!
