Waiting On Wednesday (312) Halloween is Murder by Josh Lanyon

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, previously hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

This my favorite day of the week because I love sharing and discovering new books.

Published October 30th 2017 by JustJoshin Publishing, Inc.

Synopsis from Goodreads:

When his enigmatic partner takes off on an annual fishing trip, City of Angeles gumshoe Barry Fitzgerald is left to handle an All Hallows’ Eve kidnapping case on his own.

The victim? A murdered millionaire’s penny-pinching son and heir. The culprit? That’s where it gets tricky. According to the missing man’s sister, vampires are behind Patrick O’Flaherty’s disappearance.

Barry doesn’t believe in ghosts, goblins or vampires, but when the case goes—literally—to hell…well, who you gonna call?

I've been watching and waiting for this author to come out with a new book. But without any official release dates, the waiting is just so hard! I had to resort to rereading her Dangerous Ground Series just last week! I've still got a long wait before that series has a new book.

She released Halloween is Murder last week in the middle of my reread-athon, and it somehow slipped my notice. (AND she updated her blog to reflect new, new tentative pub dates on the other 8, yes 8, books that I have been waiting on.)

No matter, I'm still going to read Halloween is Murder next. Yay me!

What are you waiting on this week?
