Waiting On Wednesday (310) Fragments of the Lost by Megan Miranda

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, previously hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

This my favorite day of the week because I love sharing and discovering new books.

Expected publication: November 14th 2017 by Crown Books for Young Readers

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Jessa Whitworth knew she didn’t belong in her ex-boyfriend Caleb’s room. But she couldn’t deny that she was everywhere—in his photos, his neatly folded T-shirts, even the butterfly necklace in his jeans pocket…the one she gave him for safe keeping on that day.

His mother asked her to pack up his things—even though she blames Jessa for his accident. How could she say no? And maybe, just maybe, it will help her work through the guilt she feels about their final moments together.

But as Jessa begins to box up the pieces of Caleb’s life, they trigger memories that make Jessa realize their past relationship may not be exactly as she remembered. And she starts to question whether she really knew Caleb at all.

Each fragment of his life reveals a new clue that propels Jessa to search for the truth about Caleb’s accident. What really happened on the storm-swept bridge?

I read this author's earlier YA books, so I figured I would give Fragments of the Lost a go. I've been meaning to read her 2 adult suspense/thriller books, All The Missing Girls and The Perfect Stranger, but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

What are you waiting on this week?

  1. Oh nice! I love a good mystery/thriller! Hope you enjoy this one once you get to read it!

    Here's my WoW

    Old Follower :)

  2. I've heard such good things about The Perfect Stranger! Some of my blogging buddies really love Megan Miranda's adult books. I need to give them a try since I have had success with some of her YA books. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

Have a great week, Sandra. =)

    Check out my post!

    1. It seems like both of us need to read her adult books! Hopefully, we'll both enjoy reading this one. Thanks for stopping by, Alyssa.

  3. I actually promised myself to read more suspense/thriller books, and this could be an interesting read for me, so I'll add it to my list!

Thanks for sharing, here's my WoW :)

    1. I hope you get the chance to read this, Silvia. Thank you for stopping by today!

  4. Oooh this one is new to me, thank you!! <3

  5. I hadn’t heard of this one before your post but it looks amazing! Awesome post! X

  6. I've had a few of this author's books on my TBR but the only one I've gotten around to was Hysteria and I remember finding it quite the page turner. I'm adding this one to my TBR as well and hopefully I can squeeze it in and it'll be just as good as it sounds!

  7. Lovely pick :D I have read this one, and I loved it. <3 Hope you will too :) I aaaaadore Megan, and have read and loved all of her books (except for one I haven't read yet.) <3 Happy reading :)
