Waiting On Wednesday (325) Daughter of the Siren Queen (Daughter of the Pirate King #2) by Tricia Levenseller

Expected publication: February 27th 2018 by Feiwel and Friends

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, previously hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

This my favorite day of the week because I love sharing and discovering new books.

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Alosa's mission is finally complete. Not only has she recovered all three pieces of the map to a legendary hidden treasure, but the pirates who originally took her captive are now prisoners on her ship. Still unfairly attractive and unexpectedly loyal, first mate Riden is a constant distraction, but now he's under her orders. And she takes great comfort in knowing that the villainous Vordan will soon be facing her father's justice.

When Vordan exposes a secret her father has kept for years, Alosa and her crew find themselves in a deadly race with the feared Pirate King. Despite the danger, Alosa knows they will recover the treasure first . . . after all, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen.

I feel like a dork because I still haven't read the first book in this series! Has anyone read the first book, and can you try talking me into reading it asap? Thank you.

What are you waiting on this week?

  1. You're not alone, I still have to put my hands on the first instalment as well . . . It sounds really great, though, so I really hope we both get the chance to read the first book soon!

    1. I know what you mean about waiting and reading a series after it's complete. It's much easier for me to get into the story knowing that I don't have to wait a year for the next book.
Thank you for stopping by, Jessica.

  4. I was excited about this book because I loved the first book! But my friend read this one and didn't like it, unfortunately. So I might actually skip it LOL. It's a duology series though, so I kind of want to finish out the series. We'll see! I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

Have a wonderful day, Sandra. =)

  6. Lovely pick Sandra :D I adored book one. But sadly did not like this second one at all :( Ahh. It was so disappointing to me. Yet everyone else is loving it. Ugh. How typical ;) Curious to know what you would think of it. <3
