Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings
that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.
(WoW was previously hosted by Breaking The Spine.)
Synopsis from Goodreads:A single dad. A deaf farmer. A bond they weren’t looking for—and yet…
Oscar is happy alone. He has his son, his boat, and no interest in men. He’d know by now, right?
So why can’t he stop thinking about the man he kissed two summers ago?
Poet is starting over in Porth Luck. He doesn’t need anyone, doesn’t do relationships, and certainly doesn’t have time for the beautiful fisherman who keeps crossing his path.
But Oscar’s voice is the first Poet has heard—and felt—in more than a decade. They fit together like sunshine and sand, like the earth and roots of the oldest trees on his land. And if Poet was raised to believe anything, it’s that sometimes the love that heals you is the love that makes a home.
Their home, if Oscar wants it to be, and all they’ve built survives the wildfire they never saw coming.
This author writes the angstiest angst that has ever angsted. And I mean ANGST. I'm totally here for it, but I have to be in a certain mood to read it (so I don't get depressed after the year I've had!)
What are you waiting on this week?

That's a new to me one! Sounds angsty. Lol. Hope you enjoy it once you're ready to read it!
