I haven't been reading much YA recently, but I've been anticipating this release for a while. I hope it lives up to my expectations!

I haven't read too many books by this author. Some of her stuff is a little out there and not my cup of tea. But she did write one of my favorite series that I like to read over and over again (I like the characters!)

I read and (mostly) enjoyed this author's Stage Dive and Dive Bar series. I haven't read anything by her for a while, so I thought I would give this a go.

Sigh. This series. I haven't read book #4 yet. Honestly, I was pissed when the very first line of the synopsis for book #4 was a major spoiler for book #3 - which hadn't been released yet! Who does that? I reluctantly read book #3 anyway, knowing what was coming, but I didn't enjoy it very much. So I decided to take a break from the series. I think I'll be able to handle finishing the series and reading books 4 and 5 now.

It was a slow, gentle kiss, probably the only thing that would be in this already rough-and-tumble day, and Cam let Nic take all that he needed. Cam needed it too—this reminder of their connection, the threads of the rope being reinforced. Cam would hold Nic to his word. Nic hadn’t let the rope go for him when Cam had needed him to hold tight, and Cam wouldn’t let go now either, nor would he let Nic, or anyone else for that matter, cut through it with a Ka-Bar.
