This my favorite day of the week because I love sharing and discovering new books.

When an author asks for their help investigating threats against a gay romance convention, Shaw sees an opportunity to shake up their routine and maybe have some fun. Until, that is, a bestselling author is poisoned in the middle of a panel. But romance authors are more complicated than either North or Shaw expects, and a treacherous web knits the suspects together.
Shaw and North will have to unravel a skein of lies and half-truths to uncover the killer. It doesn’t help that, on top of everything else, Shaw just wants to find his next favorite book—and, if it isn’t asking too much, have sex with North at least one more time in his current incarnation.

Ooh, a follow up series! Me likey!! I enjoyed reading the first series about these guys, so I was happy to find out their story is continuing.
This author currently lives in St. Louis, and this story is set there. I live in the suburbs of St. Louis (okay, it's the next county, but whatever) not downtown or south city, so it's interesting to see someone else's view of the area.

Nice! Lol! I'm in the county as well. It's funny. When in NOLA a few years back we ran into someone else from St. Louis, but he said, "well, no one really lives in St. Louis!" Lol. Then we preceded to say what area we're from in the St. Louis area. I think I've read 1 book that was actually partially set in St. Louis. I think there have also been a rare few that mention when a character was from St. Louis, but that was it! It is always kind of fun to read a book set in your "hometown" though.

Yes, I've only read books with characters who were "from" St. Louis, or just passing through. Never an entire series set here.
