This my favorite day of the week because I love sharing and discovering new books.

I had almost given up hope that this series would be continued. It's only been a year since the first book, but this author hasn't released anything since then - not even under her other pen name. So this is a total surprise to me.
I DO remember enjoying the first book for the most part, although some of the time/place/happenings were a bit muddled, and the romance was mostly blah. I haven't read anything else by this author, so I think her writing style threw me off - too much heavy dialect and moody 'atmosphere'. I may have to do a reread of book #1 to refresh my memory.

It's always nice when a book releases from an author you thought retired! I just heard one of my favorite YA authors is having a new book soon! Hope you enjoy this one once you get to read it!

DeleteI always think it's crazy (in a good way) when authors are able to publish books more than once a year. It seems to be more common among certain genres--and in recent years. Dark mire sounds like it will be a great mystery. I haven't read this author before. I may have to give this series a try. I hope you enjoy it when you read it! Have a great day.
